Job Role & Responsibilities

Manage destination PR accounts, working alongside relevant Country Managers.

Build relationships with leading travel writers, editors and journalists.

Recruit relevant travel writers to participate in media trips to Africa.

Drive positive media coverage for our clients.

Develop interesting story-angles for releases and curated content.

Write and distribute attention grabbing content and media releases.

Contribute vibrant articles to Kamageo's own trade magazines.

Develop and attend PR events on behalf of the company.

Provide media targeting and analysis reports.

Seek sponsorship from tour operators for media trips.

Develop digital and traditional advertising campaigns.

Develop innovative third-party partnerships.
Required Skills & Experiences

Knowledgeable about the workings of the PR industry.

Minimum of 2 years experience within PR, ideally in/on travel.

Creative, dynamic, enthusiastic, committed.

A good writer with grammar, punctuation and spelling that are all correct.

Well organised, excellent planner and self sufficient.
-
Ability to confidently present and influence others.
-
Ideally well travelled.
-
Driving license.
Other information

Fully funded travel to Africa is very likely.

An office-based role, located in Nether Broughton (14 miles south / 20 minutes from Nottingham City Centre)

Reports to the Head of Consumer Marketing, Rich Whiston.

During interview, you will be tasked to write a press release, blog post or short magazine article.

Salary £23,500 - £28,000 dependent upon experience.
