Travel Trade Marketing

We may be looking a brilliant individuals to deliver amazing results for our destinations. You'll need you to have a good working knowledge of the travel industry, enjoy presenting, be well-organised and personally driven. Oh, and enjoy travelling to Africa! 

There are potential roles at the following levels - Manager, Executive and Assistant.

Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Increase understanding and knowledge of your destination(s) amongst the UK travel trade.

  • Provide product training to Africa specialists across the UK, identifying those who require fam trips etc

  • Develop joint marketing activities with selected key operators

  • Work with the PR team to ensure plans are developed and implemented

  • Work with the Consumer marketing team on activities including events and travel shows.

  • Work with the Events team on organising trade shows and seminars

  • Attend regular trade shows and trade events across the UK

  • Oversee the implementation of a country marketing plan, managing budgets, performance and reporting.


Required Skills & Experiences

  • Creative, dynamic, enthusiastic, committed

  • Ideally well travelled (to Africa, if at all possible)

  • Knowledgeable about the workings of the travel industry

  • Ability to confidently present and influence professional audiences

  • 2-3 years experience in the travel industry (marketing, sales or product management) or in marketing.

  • Driving license
