Charlotte joined the team in July 2019, after spending almost three years heading up marketing at Belvoir Castle, a stately home and tourist attraction in the English countryside. Whilst her preferred role lies within PR and creative writing, she has extensive experience in digital marketing (including web, SEO and social media), event management, brand development and retail marketing. Prior to Belvoir, where she worked directly with the Duke and Duchess of Rutland, Charlotte honed her marketing skills with roles at Smiffy's, Bolser PR and Go Dine Digital. 

 

Charlotte achieved a first-class Honours Degree in Marketing at Leeds Beckett University, after which she spent time in Tanzania, building a school and medical centre. It was here that her love affair with Africa began and she couldn't be happier to be promoting the continent for others to experience.

Most recent Africa trip : I volunteered in Tanzania, which was a truly uplifting and life-changing experience.
Most wants to see : Victoria Falls (Zambia and Zimbabwe) and Mountain Gorillas in Uganda.
Most wants to visit : It has to be Uganda, but I'm generally keen to see wildlife in any part of Africa.
