Clare Bradbury Trade Account Manager
With a Law degree earned at Nottingham Trent University, Clare initially started her career as a journalist and a PR Assistant. Since then, she has gained seven years' experience as a Marketing Manager in some of the world's leading international law firms in both London and Dubai.
Clare has been committed to refocusing her career to combine her professional skills with her love of travel, in particular African travel, and sustainability. She also has a true passion for Africa, having so far visited South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, DRC, Morocco and Tunisia. The list is set to be expanded with a trip to The Gambia and Senegal planned for early 2020.
The love affair began during a journalism placement in Cape Town immediately after university. Since then, she has returned to Africa as much as her full-time work has allowed, including a 5-month career break. Highlights have included seeing The Great Migration on both sides of the border, volunteering for 2 months in Tanzania and running a marathon on the dusty roads of Uganda...
Clare has developed a particular interest in responsible and sustainable travel on the continent and is currently working towards a Master degree in Responsible Tourism Management. Her goal is to make a positive contribution to the further development of this sector of travel in Africa.
