THE CHANCE TO HONE YOUR SKILLS

At Kamageo we offer a variety of opportunities to help students in the UK gain valuable first hand experience. Some are based in the UK, whilst some are even partly based in Africa. And who knows where it might lead?

Sam Machin, Intern 2018-19

Internships (Africa based)

Are you studying at a UK university and looking for a 3-week to 12-month internship? At Kamageo, we have commercial tourism partners with potential opportunities for students across a variety of roles based in Africa - from hospitality to marketing, from construction to maintenance.

Do you want to employ your marketing skills at a lodge in Zambia, your surveying skills building a lodge in Tanzania or your hospitality skills in Malawi?

Kamageo tries to place at least one student a year to the right role. On your return to the UK, you would work alongside the Kamageo team to document your project. Africa-based internships are unpaid, but accommodation, sustenance and work permits will be provided. Email internships@kamageo.com with all your details and ideas.

Work Experience

Are you 16-18 and planning to study or already studying tourism or marketing at a UK college? Do you want to gain some valuable experience? We offer options from 1 day to 2 weeks (unpaid) dependent upon your needs and capabilities. At Kamageo, we want you to get the most out of the opportunity, so that doesn't mean you simply make tea or do photocopies. Instead you can get involved with live projects and make your mark. Email workmagic@kamageo.com  with you.
